WILD NATURE PHOTO TRAVEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Photography Expeditions / Workshops and Scouting Trips
This Photography Expedition / Workshop / Scouting trip (Hereafter referred to as 'workshop') is organized and run by Wild Nature Photo Travel Pty Ltd trading as Joshua Holko Photography (Hereafter referred to as WNPT).
2. Registration and Payment
Registration is completed when WNPT has received the initial deposit and the signed booking form. Note: All Reservations are binding. Unless otherwise explicitly stated in the individual workshop terms and conditions, the balance of payment must be paid within 120 days of the commencement of the workshop. The entire participation fee must be paid within 5 (five) business days in cases where registration is completed later than four months before the departure date.
Payment methods accepted include Direct Deposit / Wire Transfer on invoice or Credit Card (Visa / Mastercard or American Express). Please note that credit card payments attract a +3% surcharge.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation must be made immediately to WNPT in writing if you are prevented from travelling. Unless otherwise explicitly stated in the individual workshop terms and conditions, if a cancellation is made more than six months before the scheduled departure, you will be refunded any participant fee paid to date minus the initial deposit. No refunds will be made on cancellations made less than six months before the scheduled departure date. Please be aware that if the cancellation is made less than six months before departure and final payment has not yet been made, you are still obligated to pay the remaining amount as due. Once a workshop is underway, no refunds will be issued. Prices are based upon group participation, and no refunds shall be issued for any segments of the program in which you do not wish to participate. No refunds are made to participants who do not complete the workshop (or in cases where the participant withdraws from the workshop prematurely), regardless, and irrespective of the reason.
4. Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance
All travellers must purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance and evacuation insurance against an emergency that may force them to cancel or leave a workshop before it begins or while it is in progress. Wild Nature Photo Travel partners with and recommends Global Rescue for Evacuation and Medical insurance.
5. Medical Information
Participation in a WNPT expedition requires that you be in generally good health. Persons with any medical problems and related dietary restrictions must make them known to us before departure. We can counsel you on whether the workshop you have selected is appropriate for you. The tour leader has the right to disqualify any participant at any time during the tour if he or she feels the participant is physically incapable and/ or if a participant’s continued participation will jeopardize either the individual involved or the group. No refund will be given under these circumstances. By forwarding the deposit, the passenger certifies that he/she has no mental, physical or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for him/herself or other passengers.
6. Price Modifications
WNPT reserves the right to increase the price of the workshop if cost increases arise due to changes in transport costs, taxes, customs or other fees or changes in the exchange rate. Participants will be notified in writing of any price modifications.
7. Itinerary Changes and Trip Delay
WNPT reserves the right to change a workshop's dates, itinerary, or accommodations as conditions warrant. These are workshops in remote parts of the world, and we reserve the right to change the itinerary due to weather conditions, political conditions and other factors beyond our control without consulting the participants. It is understood that such decisions will be made in the best interests of all participants and with regard to safety first. Participants have no right to any refund or other considerations in the event of these inevitable itinerary changes. If a trip must be delayed, or the itinerary changed due to bad weather, road conditions, transportation delays, government intervention, sickness, volcanic eruption or other contingency for which WNPT or its agents cannot make provision, the cost of delays or changes is not included.
8. Itinerary Cancellation
WNPT reserves the right to cancel a workshop before departure for any reason whatsoever, including too few participants or logistical problems such as strikes, wars, acts of God, volcanic eruptions, or any other circumstances that may make the operation of the trip inadvisable. All trip payments received will be promptly refunded, and this refund will be the limit of WNPT’s liability. WNPT is not responsible for any expenses incurred by trip members in preparing for the trip, including nonrefundable or penalty-carrying airline tickets, special clothing, visa or passport fees or other trip-related expenses.
9. Limitations of Liability
WNPT, its owners, agents and employees assume no responsibility whatsoever caused for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from acts of God, detention, annoyance, delays, expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations and discrepancies or changes in transit or hotel services over which it has no control. Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well-being of the participants. In case of a medical problem arising during the workshop, which results in costs for evacuation, use of aircraft or repatriation, the responsibility for payment of these costs belongs solely to the passenger. WNPT strongly advises that passengers ensure that such eventualities are covered by travel insurance. If not covered by travel insurance, the responsibility still remains with the passenger, and WNPT specifically declines any responsibility whatsoever.
10. Binding Terms and Conditions
On payment of deposit to Wild Nature Photo Travel, the depositor acknowledges that he/she has read and understands the above terms and conditions and agrees to be bound by them.
